St Louis Volunteer Opportunity

I am surprised that they didn't post this here themselves, but people I know in the MFA office have put out a call for volunteers at St Louis on Saturday to replace one of their volunteer groups who is unable to fulfill their commitment. This is a great opportunity to see the event from a whole different perspective. Most shifts run 4-6 hours, and you get a nice shirt and the feeling that you have done something to give back to this organization that gives so much to you. Signing up is a really simple process...just follow the link.

Just know that volunteers are not spectators. They are there to work. The event will not work without them. If any of you alums or parents were planning to be at the event already anyway, why not miss 2 or three blocks of the show to pitch in?

I will be there! I had a blast volunteering at Centerville, so when I got the email requesting for help at St. Louis, I had to do it. And I second the motion that it's a great experience, allowing volunteers to see things from a different perspective. I have renewed respect for how hard everyone works to make these events a good experience for all involved.
